BTW, Amanda, getting back to your love of mugs…I just bought a Hudson’s Bay stripes mug, just to add to my collection. If you watch the movie: “The Princess Bride,” Peter Falk (the grandfather) is drinking from one.
I don’t recall that we have seen a past full grown Amanda before (and a recent past one, like in the last few days, same new glasses as @PaintTheDust mentioned above.
My not so long ago past self is the one that motivates me to do what I should have done then. I don’t want her to leave anytime soon or I’ll never get anything done. Gotta go.. my past self is yelling at me to get busy and begin a new day of packing. I appreciate her doing so in that my son would be very unhappy with me if he gets here with the moving truck and I’m still sitting here talking to all of you.
It always surprises me to find I am wearing a mismatched pair of similar Argyle socks. You would think the patterns would be distinctive enough that I would catch the mistake when sorting, but no. The worst of it is knowing you have another mismatched pair just like them at home. :)
It’s not laziness, really! I just found out that I have this, “Many adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) struggle with procrastination. Fortunately, there are ways to address chronic procrastination, such as breaking to-do items down into smaller tasks, setting deadlines, having a friend hold you accountable, and seeking professional help.”

looking at this…. I’m glad that I don’t have the ability to talk to my past-me (or else I’m having one big slap on the face)

Must be a recent Past Amanda — same new glasses.
Yesterday, I found my Past Self left a whole load of “dark matter” in the dryer for a whole week.

Past me is consistently lazy unless he was having fun and/or obsessed.
