Ants don’t do well in pools

What would asking for advance in his allowance have to do with his best friend getting an in-ground pool….unless he is buying a pair of floaties or a raft to go in the pool.

Is his friend going to charge him to go swimming?

Give him enough money to buy an ant-sized shovel and tell him to dig his own pool!

Seems like things that would work as inground pools would be dime a dozen for ants
