My brother went to HD to get a whole house fan. They only had one left but it was broken. He asked when they would get more in for sale. He was told they wouldn’t get any new ones till they sold the broken one!!! Now please tell me how private business is so much more efficient than GOVERNMENT!!

You should be up and running as good as new by… early November.

My question is why doesn’t a repair man have a stock to accommodate customers? I think it’s lame.

I had a man come to fix my furnace…the most common part he didn’t have! He traveled for an hour on the West side to get it. Dumb!

I had to travel over Easter to the East Coast to install some apparatus I had programmed. We had found one carrier on Good Friday who would “overnight” it to Massachussetts. I hung around for a week at our company’s East Coast offices. The package arrived just as I was leaving on Friday for the flight back.

our young new plumber, who came over to check our boiler on a sunday when the idiot who owns the well that supplies our water decided to engage in civil engineering on his own and broke our water pipe, was very apologetic when he told us that he probably couldn’t get the part he needed by monday. he installed the part on tuesday. we love our plumber… ☺
