At least you asked politely. Cafe took the entire roast off of the counter, was discovered with some in his mouth and refused to give it up. He never did that again mainly because I never forgot to put a roast in the fridge immediately after carving it, wrapping and putting in the fridge.
I had rescued a 14-year old male cat, the only male I’ve ever had & it was a fight to the finish whenever there was chicken. I remember one time setting the table & turned to look at the stove to see he had lifted a thigh out of the pan and was batting/biting at it on the floor. It was so funny, I wasn’t even mad at him; just thankful he didn’t get burned and that it was already cooked thru. What a greasy mess! He had more personality in 1 claw than most humans have in their whole body. I had him for 3 fun years when old age took its toll. I still miss him.

Sure he did.

I’m fortunate: my cats don’t like people food, except for an occasional bite of chicken.

Good work, but it kind of fell apart at the end

Beneath the tough and fancy exterior of the Mittens, is a deep love for Earl!
