It was not a move I expected, that’s for sure. I was thinking of voting 3rd party for a long while, but now that he willingly passed it over to Harris, I’m thinking of voting Democrat this year after all. Still not sure about her 100%, but her platform so far is appealing. We’ll see.
Fifty years in politics, and Joe Biden had not accomplished a single thing politically for America and American Workers, and stepping down from the 2024 election is not even an accomplishment. Joe Biden stepping down from the 2024 election has allowed Kamala Harris to receive the 2024 election nomination, something she had not accomplished, had not received votes for, nor something she had earned. Vote Republican 2024
Harris has grown exponentially since 2020. She’s kicking a$$ and taking names and not apologizing about it. “That’s right m*** f***, America’s the most lethal fighting force on the planet. You got a problem with that?” She’s learned the lesson of 16. Hillary thought Trump was so laughably bad that she had a cake walk. Kamala knows she has a fight on her hands.

Sensible gun regulations
A bipartisan border bill, (that Trump had his MAGA allies kill, because he would rather deny the Democrats a victory, than actually do something about the border)
Very few humans willingly give up power. I think it’s more true for those in politics. Very few have the ability to be introspective, even when prodded by friends/family. (think about taking the car keys away from an aging parent) The fact that Biden did shows a mind not quite as muddled as his critics believe.
Still a lot of folk here that want a raping fraud fascist to be president. One of the impeachments was because the orange skunk tried to strong arm Zelenskyy into investigating Biden. I laugh at their wasting of time, effort and money.
Trump supporters don’t even UNDERSTAND putting your country before your party. It’s ALL a political game, and they’ll sell America to foreign enemies for the sake of Trump.
It’s one more thing they have in common with the Bolsheviks of the early 20th Century: Party is all that matters. Country doesn’t.
There is no question Biden did not want to pull out of the race. While his fellow Democrats offered advice, Biden made his own decision to not run. The majority of Democrats did not want him to drop out, contrary to what some say. Even Ocasio-Cortez wanted Joe to stay and run. Biden is all the accolades they gave him during the convention. He earned them.
Sadly we cannot comment on Clay Jones’ excellent cartoon today. It’s about Gus Walz’s reaction to his dad’s nomination. But here’s what the GUARDIAN had to say about it:
“For Gus Walz, the Democratic national convention in Chicago last week may not have been the light, good vibes fest that it was for adults in the 17,000-seat Chicago arena.
The intense emotional response of vice-president hopeful Tim Walz’s son to seeing his father on stage – “That’s my dad!” – thrust him into the spotlight as the convention’s breakout star and with them raised the issue of nonverbal learning disorders, ADHD and an anxiety disorder that the 17-year-old is reported to experience.
A teenage boy stands up in the middle of a crowd cries and wrinkles his face while clapping‘That’s my dad’: Gus Walz moved to tears as father Tim accepts VP nomination
The conservative commentator Ann Coulter posted an article on X about Gus’s reaction, captioning it: “Talk about weird …” But the backlash against the mean-spirited post was swift. “He’s 17” trended on the platform and Coulter – unusually – took the post down.
“I can see why a child loving their parents would feel foreign to you,” wrote Obama staffer-turned-liberal podcaster Tommy Vietor.
So RFK Jr has endorsed the tRump party, hoping to get a job if tRump wins. Obviously, he failed to take into account that tRump has a long history of making conditional promises (“if you do this, then I’ll do that”), but when the conditions are fulfilled, he reneges on the promise. In this case, he didn’t even make a promise to break; he just said he would “consider” it. Right now tRump is happy with Kennedy because he’s useful to tRump, in the form of any voters he brings with him. But even if tRump wins, Kennedy will be out in the cold, because he will no longer be of any benefit to tRump.

Funny how when Stantis inches away from his both siderism, this is the result.
.
I guess he believes Biden has made no accomplishments as president and did not put himself above his party and especially not above his country.
.
And I guess Stantis has not yet noticed that Trump is now older than Biden was when he took office.
That’s because Stantis is so non partisan and is not a member of the cult. Definitely not a member of the cult.

Thank you President Biden, Country over party! trump must be defeated and finally get his federal prison ID.

Does Stantis actually write this comic any more? Elsewhere, I’ve read that Eric Allie inherited the strip.

Say what you will about Biden being slow, but look at how long it took Trump to move after being shot. The SS had to jump on him to get him down.

Come on, Scott. Joe exited the race because Nancy Pelosi put a loaded gun to his head. He did NOT want to leave.

The Harris platform consists of what Trump has said all along and what she & the DNC think the gullible want to hear.
