Watered down game

The coach(es) should make sure everyone on the team has the same main goal (to score points = to make goals) – even the waterboy.

Have him coach the other team.

I notice the sign “MGR” on Peter’s ball cap so does this means he’s a water manager?

He can’t even keep up with the football team as student manager. Go figure.

I remember Peter yelling at one of the players for daring to sit on the bench after he had cleaned it. An even funnier one had Peter telling various players that various pieces of equipment (knee pads, helmets, etc) were too big and to see the equipment manager. We didn’t “hear” his final command, but we saw Peter in the last panel, looking badly battered, as the coach observes mildly, “I usually leave cup size decisions to the players.”
