Ben called him a golden retriever last week. He should take to the water unless something happened to him as a puppy to make him afraid of it. We had a dog like that. My daughter spent a year going into the water with him, holding him and teaching him to swim, and he loved the water for the rest of his life.

Max looks to be a Labrador Retriever, in real life, he’d be way out there swimming to the ball.
