    LOL That is exactly what my big dog does when the little one has something he wants. He won’t take it from her, but he’ll make a lot of noise.

    When we got our new puppy, he was definitely a beta dog, he wanted the toy that the older dog would not give up. Rather than fight her directly for it, he sprang to the door and barked like a fiend. Naturally, the other dog ran to see what was up, leaving the toy behind. Then, he just looped back and picked up the toy and walked quietly away

    Sophie’s lucky Annie’s such a gentle giant, because otherwise she wouldn’t have a prayer fighting against her if Annie instead chose to bully her way into being top dog in this household.
