A church I attended had a pastor who served in the first Iraq war. When he mentioned he’ll handle the law care a fellow elder warned him about the Florida heat. He responded that he use to jog in the 120 degree weather in Iraq.

I once served in the engine room on an aircraft carrier. On liberty in Egypt, I visited the Great Pyramid of Giza. While everyone else on the tour complained about the heat, I was quite comfortable. Not only was it more than 20 degrees cooler than “down in the hole”, there was no real humidity, to boot.

Tank’s mom is getting on in years, but she’s still got a lot of pep.

Tank, if you’re sweating that much you aren’t dealing with heat stroke.

Keep a tarp and a big bag of ice in a cooler. Throw the bag of ice on the tap and roll yourself up in it at the onset of overheating and dial 911.
