I had a bug fly into my ear when I was in college. Room mate tried to get it out with a flashlight. When that didn’t work, water was poured into my ear. When that didn’t work I went to the ER to have my ear flushed out. No bug was found. Must have eaten its way into my brain.
But that’s good luck, right? It must be! It might’ve flown, though. Ladybugs can fly. I bet he never sniffed at flower again! Well, not for a long time after, at least.

The sensation lasted longer than the intruder.
