Hmm, They now have a picture of what the area looks like…then, when they come back and see things shifted around or missing, they will know that something/someone is wandering around and they will begin their hunt?!
Nothing to see here. Just another civilization falling out of nowhere.
We know the Lucranians hunt for dead worlds to salvage. I wonder if others use dead worlds as dumps. The ships and buildings could be trash instead of stuff caught up in a wormhole.
Of course they’ll return. Good salvage is to be gathered. Either way you got very little time. They may just bomb the whole place like they did to Unity…..just to be on the safe side.
If or when the topsiders come, they will notice the missing lifeboats, and know that someone has gone to sea.
My question now:
Aaron Neathery! Where are the flying cars!
Do the topsiders have air transport? I cannot recall them traveling anywhere except by the transporters. Sure, they have flying drones which are weaponized, but where are the flying cars like the one Holly was using before the war?
If the topsiders personally have to show up using transporters, then it will take a while for them to arrive. Not true of the drones, of course.
Well, they’ll come back because this is the first time a colony has exploded in a while, I’ll bet… they’ll want answers. The smart ones will, anyway. The dumb ones will “shoot first” etc.

So when they set sail to the Great Green, will the Topsiders follow them there?

Just start walking with the boat held over you. Topsiders will assume that’s what all boats do.
