It’s a case of “hope springs eternal.” It’s not realistic, but I can’t deny it’s a nice sentiment.

Stantis, what qualities are you talking about?

    Something like NOT LYING?

You actually think anyone projects that quality onto Trump? Not even the most hard core magat. (Maybe magat admire and want to possess the ability to LIE without any qualms whatsoever.)

Imagine being so bone-headed ignorant that you look at this treasonous, traitorous, totally corrupt, self-serving, ignorant clown, this racist, semi-literate moron, this sexually assaulting, pathologically lying, feeble-minded, morally bankrupt, constitutionally-illiterate simpleton, this bloated nitwit with his cotton candy hair, radioactive tinted skin and obese dishevelment, and think “Now that is a guy I really admire”.

At some point, when Trump has faded into embarrassing memory, we’ll need to be able to get along with each other at Thanksgiving. Pretending the other side is illegitimate is counterproductive in reaching that inevitable outcome. Trumpers aren’t mouth breathing morons, tho his trolls invariably portray themselves so. Dems aren’t raving radicals. Everybody has their preferred view of the future. Condescension isn’t helpful.

The real problem with this election is that one of them is going to win it.

Stanti’s depression oozes into just about everything he puts out. This psycho/sociologist effect is just one of thousands we, as social creatures experience. It’s just a part of reality, not necessarily something that crushes our nation. Stanti would have us believe it is an overriding factor in our lives………………..It’s just another thing.

Our Founders gave us self government. We elect those among us to represent us in government. They do not have power over our lives, nor are they better than we are. Those who surrender to the elected miss the point of our government.
