Nice for this little girl! Now she might be ready for Time magazine.

Remember nights like that. Usually reading till the wee hours of morning because I wanted to know how the book ended.

The same book was on three grading lists , so each year, for each different teacher, I wrote a report from that book. It was The Coral Island.

The Last Season, a true story of the life of a back country ranger who grew up in Yosemite, and one day went missing while out on patrol, is the only book I read cover to cover in one day, could not put it down.

I’ve only found one book that I couldn’t put down. Someone had put super glue on the cover.

Books don’t have the late-night repeating brainless commercials for worthless products.

Wow! That was me in high school. We had to read Seven Days in May, and I had left it until the day before. Unhappily, I got into bed and opened the book. It was morning before I knew it, and that book was SO good. I was able to make a really competent report on it.

Shortly before my H S freshman year started, it was a hot summer night and, at 13, I was ENTRANCED with “Jane Eyre.” Couldn’t put it down. It was late, almost midnight, and there was a quiet knock at the back door….fond memories.
