Some quick googling reveals even established medical organizations differ a lot in the prevalence of low testosterone levels. Western Michigan Neurological Associates says “Low Testosterone levels affect 1 in every 4 men over the age of 30”; University of Wisconsin says “Nearly 39 percent of men ages 45 years and older have low testosterone.” NIH says, “The prevalence of [low testosterone] varies between 10–40% … and is known to increase with age, with an abrupt rise in men aged 45–50 years.”
Like most men, I greet the news with a resounding “ehh.”
