Whenever I meet a Swede I ask him or her to count to seven for me in Swedish. It’s one of the strangest sounds in any language (excepting those African clicks and clucks). You hafta hear it to believe it. Lotsa websites try to explain it, though they mostly concentrate on the SK and not on the sing-song vowel.

Going back to yesterday’s rain. I rode my motorcycle to Ft. Kent yesterday to stop into the brewery. Low 80’s and mostly sunny skies. Two miles from my destination I came around a curve and ‘’Wham!’’ …..I was in a torrential downpour. I tucked in behind the fairing and windscreen and looked for a place to shelter. Found a large barn that had a small overhang I could get under and waited it out for ten minutes. Hat and shoulders were soaked….but that’s part of being a biker. I couldn’t help thinking about Stan and Rory.

Good response. Rory managed to tick off a spammer.

I’ll have to remember this for the next scammer that calls.
