Maybe not! School was not a carefree, friendly, joyous set of years for everybody. The older I got, the happier I was to find myself one year closer to getting out of that Gulag.
The school could always use the money raised for the new cafeteria from that parents’ volleyball game, and there’s also that theater grant that the school was going to use to remodel the stage…but why do I have the feeling that this is the start of another fundraising arc? (But what can they do? They can’t put on a show – the stage is being remodeled, remember?)
