since solitaire is involved, this is no joke – I can tell

There’s another strip on this site called “The Born Loser”. That title could also apply to Adam, very easily! Maybe the two could team up.

If his life was less exciting he’d be able to write.

The number 1 and most important step in any undertaking is thinking! Solitaire is not a part of that process.

Sounds like me but I use computer solitaire. That way I don’t waste a lot of energy shuffling the deck.

I’ll buy that!

I love solitaire but hate sitting at the card table. It is slightly better, however, than doing a jigsaw puzzle where you’ve got to stand up to see “the big picture.”

I remember those days. Retired now.

Or as once was said, staring at a blank piece of paper until beads of blood form on your forehead…

I wonder if all writers go through Adam’s routines……

That horse has been beat to death, it’s time to find gainful employment.

The personal computer has seamlessly combined those two “elements of writing”.

We have lots of handwoven scarves,shawls, and towels. We have all sorts of handmade leather items. We have lots of assorted items made from wood. We have boxes of hand stitched bears – about 3 inches tall. We have a couple of dozen machine quilted baby quilts – and the panels to make more of them.

Craft business never seems to work out. But we have had fun making all the stuff.

He has a concept of a plan
