The Three Stooges were an American vaudeville and comedy team active from 1922 until 1970, best remembered for their 190 short-subject films by Columbia Pictures. Their hallmark styles were physical, farce, and slapstick comedy. The film trio was originally composed of Moe Howard, brother Shemp Howard and longtime friend Larry Fine. Curly Howard replaced brother Shemp, who later returned when Curly suffered a debilitating stroke in 1946.

Couldn’t stand the Three Stooges. I see nothing funny in people smacking each other around.

Countermanded my wife’s order of curly fries at Arby’s last week. They brought potato cakes back for a limited time. She loves their potato cakes and wishes they hadn’t stopped making them.

There were actually SIX Stooges if you count Joe Besser (only in a few of the shorts) and Joe de Rita ( only in the feature films).
