Should married couples golf together?

And this is why no one should play with Mr. Dear – he’s a jerk and a bad sport. They aren’t playing in a competition or against another couple. She’s having a bad day. Everyone has them. Why does he have to act like a three year old? No skin off his nose how she golfs. His criticizing will not make her game better.

The Grumpies play golf.

I had a bizarre encounter on the golf course. Joined three strangers to make up a foursome. Two were a husband and wife. He was a psychologist and his wife a homemaker. As we golfed he became more and more critical of his wife golf game to the point I almost quit because she was so browbeaten.

It takes golf balls to play with him……

Seems like the dears played a lot of golf in these early strips .

Sad, they obviously don’t play well together.

From what I’ve seen, Mrs. Dear plays on ’ a par’ with Mr. Dear, so he is commenting on his own playing.

I didn’t know Mrs. Dear played golf! Good for her!

I’m sure she’s imagining giving him a whack on. his butt with her club.

Sigh…back to grumpy Mr. Dear. Oh well.
