Her posture is just as bad as Jeremy’s on “Zits”. Maybe they’re related.

It’s hard to explain because it’s a legal fiction designed to starve the government of tax revenue.

    .

(Of course, there are people who will shout “GOOD!”, as if they pay directly for police protection and road repaving.)

In the pursuit of money and things, one finds they trade off so much of themselves, sometimes too late.

Do Tiffanys change their name at some point? I don’t recall ever meeting a fifty year old Tiffany.

Looks like Jim needs to go research the lack of an extradition treaty somewhere.

This was the Enron scandal. Enron, an energy company based in Houston, had bilked investors out of $ billions. Kenneth Lay, Enron’s CEO (“Kenny Boy,” as George W. Bush called him around the clubs), was convicted but died suddenly just before he was due to go to prison. In a controversial move, the court vacated Lay’s conviction on the grounds he died while it was in appeal, which allowed his heirs to keep much of what he stole. This, naturally, gave rise to conspiracy theories that Lay’s death was faked. People like then-President Bush and James Baker attended Lay’s funeral. I recall a cartoon (not by Trudeau) of a tombstone that read, “He was a bad Lay.”

Yeah, not my favorite storyline. Know 2 different guys who work at the local grocery who watched their life savings disappear in company stock across a couple of days once upon a time working for those bozos (Enron). Real people paid the price for working at the company with the smartest kids in the room! Not funny at all!

She might as well file the divorce papers. He’s not planning to come back from the Caymans…..if that’s where he’s really going.

How much has Go Comic’s readership gone down since the comments ban? I know I’ve slacked way off.
