We still have three bookstores where I live. Barnes and Noble are still the largest. My family purchases books from there, all the time.We used to try Amazon, but it seemed that every time we purchased a book that was suppose to be new, it was not. Besides, as my eleven year old would say, “It feels nice in here”.

I love, love, LOVE bookstores of any category. I usually purchase at least two, after an hour of browsing. Good times for this old nerdette!

I told my kids that there used to be bookstores everywhere. Pointed out where three of them used to be- easy driving distance from the house.
It was like telling kids a hundred years ago that bison used to roam the plains in their thousands, as far as the eye can see.

There are treasures hiding in used book stores. New works have gems too, & need your support. The Walmart rack of trending, as seen on tv ain’t it.
