I think Loretta would also gain useful advice from watching “The Dog Whisperer,” with Cesar Millan. There have been many programs that might be called “The Husband Whisperer,” but Millan provides simple practical advice for women trying to train their human male animals.
I’m always struck by what poor hosts both of the Lockhorns are. Whenever they have guests in their home, the most they’ll do is give a running commentary on activities that could not possibly be of any interest to an outsider. Sometimes even that. If they don’t want to entertain, why do they invite people over?

And he’s learned to deal with you at Arthurs Bar and coming home fully anesthetized to your diatribe.
