I’ve learned to restrain myself from correcting people unless:
I think their meaning is unclear.
They have asked me to correct them if they’re wrong.
I forget to restrain myself.
I once had a co-worker tell me I didn’t need to show off and use big words. My answer was succinct. I’d rather use my vocabulary than lose it.
