To defeat “porch pirates” I directed an Amazon delivery for Tuesday Sept. 3 to a nearby UPS store. I get an email: “Good news, early delivery!” Naturally UPS was closed Monday for Labor day, but Amazon tried twice [second attempt was late at night after the UPS regular closing time] then lost track of the package, so no updates all day Tuesday. I hope that they try again today early.
Used to be Amazon lockers at the local ’Hole, but the pirates must have made so many complaints that they are now gone.

Sounds like quite the late-night delivery! That must have been a surprise. At least he got his lovely shirts, even if the timing was a bit odd.
