That is a difficult song for non-professionals, especially when, apparently, unaccompanied. Many points for just getting up there and trying Amanda.
In Sondheim’s “A Little Night Music”, in context, this song is beautifully poignant.
The clowns are in the audience if they don’t appreciate your effort. I wouldn’t even try. Kudos!!
No hook coming Amanda..As Perkcat said, the clowns are in the audience…just keep on going then trip on a mic wire or something when your done. That should get a laugh anyway :-)
