Just rewatched “Metropolis” and this reminded me of the workers going into work…….

He goes to work so Fred can eat.

I feel for Mr. Dear. Had lots and lots of those days. Fred, give him a reassuring bark when he leaves the house. So he will remember why he drags on day after day.

Even Garfield takes Mondays better than that!

I was lucky, I always enjoyed my jobs and their role in my life, didn’t dread going in. Of course, that still doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy the time off on weekends and vacations.

Fred, you shouldn’t take on the negative feelings of your owner. Being human is not for you, my little darling!

I remember—-so glad I’m retired.

My 40+ years of working were unpleasant to miserable. I’m happily retired now. The only thing I miss is wearing a cute outfit everyday. Most days now I’m in workout clothes or very casual around the house things
