Actually, the latest reports from the census bureau are that we have largely recovered from the mess made by covid. Unemployment is down, inflation is easing, wages are increasing at a rate faster than inflation is, and interest rates are expected to go down soon. The only bad news in the report is that women didn’t benefit from the improvements as much as men did. Maybe the most important job in the country going to a woman will help some with that.

My pennynomic indicator, which is based upon found money along the street, parking lots, etc. Says the economy will crash in 3 months. I’ve found 3 cents this month so far, down from the usual 50 cents or more by this time of the month.
