Only two boats … for forty two folks? Gonna be cozy. Hope they brought plenty of buckets for bailing and for the seasick…

They should be able to duck under the boats if they spot a drone.

Wally is a Star, and one of their attributes, as Marx explained, is that they have incredible luck, as if they have guardian angels. With people like Marx watching over them, maybe they do. The unlikely is likely to happen, for the sake of his story.

Has Wally ever previously mentioned being held in detention on an island? I don’t doubt that Apex had him in detention after the episode with the teacher, but I don’t remember him mentioning it.
