So, how DID T-Rex return to the present? Maybe he made a single wish to travel 10 minutes into the past for some specific amount of time, then return to the present?
Makes me think of Michael Crichton’s “Timeline” where the explanation for how they got back to the present after using the time machine to travel into the past was that someone from there/then knew how to send them into the future. I always thought that, out of all of Crichton’s novels, that was probably the lamest pseudo-scientific premise … no offense intended, Michael.
I’m more interested in the implication that T-Rex had to learn the hard way that traveling through time also meant repositioning one’s self with the Earth’s movements, and now I’m kinda wondering how he worked his way out of that mess.
