And aren’t the liberals progeny the ones calling for the genocide of Jews and preventing Jewish students from attending classes? Are you anti-semantic lemon?

Hitler tried to conquer Europe and more. The so called far right here in Germany only want to protect the culture and traditions of pre and post-war Germany. Nothing far right about that.

    Translation of the third panel:

“And The Economist publishes viewpoints with so-called ‘fact-checkers’ whose pronunciations support my biases, so it’s a legitimate publication.”

And there would have been ways to make arguments for or against that prejudicial reading between the Economist’s lines without invoking Hitler and thus legitimately triggering Godwin’s Law, as most people call it.

There exist substantial differences between the current “far-right” AfD and the Hitler-led Nazi party of nearly a century ago. But it’s far easier, even downright lazy, to just simply scream “LITERALLY HITLER!!!!” over and over again—as they did with Trump, with Bush 43…………… because introspection on your failings as an alternative offering proves awkward, uncomfortable, and difficult.

What Germany, Europe and even America are currently undergoing has no direct correlation to what happened in the 1930s – but there ARE similarities that must be considered…

Donald John Trump is trying to pull America down the same path of totalitarian fascism that Germany, Italy and Spain trod in the thirties – not EXACTLY the same, but the similarities are disturbing, nonetheless…

Everyone: please read the 1932 Nazi party platform document. It’s available online, in English, even. You’ll find Anti-semitism, nationalism, more antisemitism, Leftist ideas like nationalizing health care, requiring profit sharing with workers, confiscating war profits from big companies, and yeah, more anti-semitism.
