With nothing to lose

My friends are all fleas

So I’m singing the blues

It’s hard to reach at times to scratch, so we become friends.

My closest friends are stuffed animals. 3 go with me everywhere. Least expensive therapy animals I could find.

I should have known, I should have listened

Should have listened to that voice deep inside

Told me not to wander away from home

Now I’ve got the hound dog blues

The low down, flea-bitten, hound dog blues (x2).

I had a friend who was a flea

We only needed each other and nothing more

I used to phone her most every day

But now I don’t collar anymore

Both dogs are now friends. Problem solved. Looks to me like a Bassett hound and a Beagle.
