Wow! I didn’t know Garfield is small enough to fit into a snow boot… ;-)

Judging from Jons foot in the second panel, that is one big boot.

I have a little confuse about this strip, why is tube sock? just Garfield want a warm sleeping place?

Reminds me of my old cat. Lol always looking for somewhere warm. Let him stay!

hehe, i’m now translate daily strip to Chinese Garfield fans, what I’m think about is how to explain this joke in Chinese….

Garfield always finds something very peculiar to make Jon getting mad.

my cat tried that when she was a kitten and got stepped on my step dad did not do it again. poor baby girl.

i would be afraid to pull out Garfield dad or unconcisous.

My cats are all too big for boots now. Instead they love the antique heating grates in my old house. The skinny ones wedge themselves underneath my dresser up against the one there. My fat cat has to settle with rolling around on the big one in the floor in the hallway.

I suppose that would be like trying to explain what a beer tastes like if one hadn’t tasted it before.

to HOOT1947, yes, you are right. I think this is the different culture between eastern and western. native Chinese speaker can’t understand this joke if I just translate it into Chinese directly…

I can only read some of the chinese =( I can’t read anything that’s simplified. 我的中文真是不好因為我是加拿大生。同样因為我是十三歲。

I know one thing — even large cats can make themselves fit into the most inconceivably small spaces, like jars and stuff. They even go in head first and TURN AROUND inside the jar! Somehow they can compact themselves to perform miraculous feats of flexibility. They almost seem to defy the laws of physics at times.
