Thanks for reminding us of the mail carrier Choo Choo Curtis from Walt Kelly’s Pogo! Did you know that Nancy Beiman, who draws “Furbabies,” was friends with Selby Kelly?

But it is, though.

Dan should give us all a quick primer on The Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act (PAEA) of 2006.

Dan loves to go Postal in a different way.

I paint custom mail boxes. Mine has garden gnome and forest on it. Neighbor has Washington Monument with Cherry Blossoms, friend had garden wildflowers, a beach scene at a beach house, and dragons laying waste to the castle box just moved to Ohio.

As much as I would like to bash the Postal Service, I think if they just eliminated the junk mail (advertising, etc.) it would get here faster. As for mailing the roseries I would be taking them to the nearest Parish and let them handle distribution matters. Dan worked hard on all those. What if the Post Office looses them somehow.

Of course by going to the store to do so would allow Amanda to do some quick shopping for ice cream and such…
