My grandmother actually did that, and said “They looked nice” when asked why she didn’t replace the ‘store’ photos with ones of her own family. Point taken, Grandma.
Horace isn’t the first fellow I know of who’s done something like this—I’ve met people who likewise bought a picture frame at the store who also liked the included demo photo that was included with it and kept it, simply because they seemed like nice pictures. I myself even held onto a pretty landscape photo that had come with the frame (but not the frame, that was to be used for something else) that a family member had bought, because it seemed like a shame to waste it.

Sadly, Woolworths’ does not sell picture frames with horses in them.
