I love the depiction of cafeteria food in the first frame! It encompasses every bad stereotype ever talked about.

You had me at oreo cookies!

Food ….always a winner!!!!

But what about Rover? He always meets you at the bus stop, Red!!

Love Ruby — but the fact that she has red hair may have something to do with it!

Better clear it with Rover! Red will come home with Oreos on his breath and not a one for Rover.

Love the kid behind Red in the last frame smelling his food…

I wonder if the twins will get jealous

A day without Rover. I don’t think I’ve seen that before.

Geeze, I kinda liked cafeteria food. Best were when they had chili or pizza.

Come on Red – where is your imagination?? You have so many ideas you and Ruby could work on together. Crystal Radio for the space ship? So you could chat to each other (no cell phones yet!)…..

“Slop” is both a sound effect and the cafeteria food itself!

Which was why there were so many food fights…..

I always got the milk carton that wouldn’t open. On either side.

I built a crystal radio in Cub Scouts. To my surprise, it actually worked.
