I grew up with a clown oil painting, possibly painted by Red Skelton (lots of intrafamily debate on that). After my lovely bride and I got married in 1990, IT came on TV, with Tim Curry as Pennywise the Clown (aka Deadlights). No more clowns for me!

My nephew was afraid of Slappy the clown. I was never into clowns or horror movies.
