My insurance company sends a nurse to my house once a year for a fitness check-up. That memory test is part of it.
Even when I was young and mentally active I hated those tests where they’d read you a list of words and ask you to repeat them back.
Most dementia patients have long term memory. They have trouble functioning because they have lost short term memory and the ability to place it in longer term memory.
