Did Fred watch Star Trek Wrath of Khan and now he’s afraid of weird insects?

This is so cute❣️ Fred, just reach out with your paw, brace yourself, fish it out, shake your paw, then rinse it in the remaining water to make sure this most peculiar insect does not cling to your fur. Then add a little happy dance because you saved a life, nudge your bowl to a different place, a bit out of sight of the insect in question, sigh deeply and start lapping your tasty fresh water. What a great start into your day. And much to brag on later with your lads!

Waiter, "What is this fly doing in my soup? " It looks like the backstroke sir.

What a wussie! Back in 1983, we had the most severe Junebug infestation I’ve ever heard of. Our puppy got fat because she would go outside and graze on all the protein… Strange, I haven’t even seen a Junebug in years, I wonder if this sort of thing happens once in a generation.

Fred is picky! Any other dog would just welcome the added protein, lol!

Hard to explain, but I consider this to be a good example of a classic Fred comic. A very “Fred” comment at the end.

From the insect’s point of view, Fred is trying to drain his swimming pool.
