The thinking is that everyone should be able to run for office, not just the well-to-do. And yes we get the congressman Johnson (vote for the name you know) or the venal poser, but for the most part we get concerned citizens who want to make a difference. MTG’s concerns are not mine, Lauren Bobert is on some sort of mission which I cannot determine, but it is the voters in those districts who decide, not the size of the purse. Anyone can join, why not you?

There are grifters and then there are grifters. The tRump ‘Bible’ is printed and bound in China. Likely the sneakers and watch are as well. The $2 bill that is being defaced with tRump’s picture of him holding his ear after the alleged attempt is only $19.95 each.

Democratic presidential candidates won the popular vote but lost the Electoral College in 2000 and 2016.

Just think, we could have had far better presidents than “W” and Trump if “One Person One Vote” actually was the law of the land.
