That’s the thing Republicans think they know who their spouses are voting for once that hit that booth I don’t think they vote for the adjudicated sex predator who wants to control their bodies.

Sorry Ernie, Women are no longer the private property of men, dispite the Rethugican/Evangelical ideals of women as breeding livestock.

I’m betting this happens a lot. As an election judge we often have to prevent the husband from going to the booth with the wife. We get lectures about “rights” and “minding our own business” from the husbands.

When I work as an election judge (what my state calls the supervisor of a polling place), any time a couple comes in, we put them at booths far enough apart that one can’t see how the other is voting. If they want to tell each other later how they voted, that’s their business. Whether or not they tell each other the truth is also their business.

..Ernesto has already filled Maria’s out and mailed them off. This is just his ploy to feign not being being able to find them..

You’ll know if she wants you to know. It’s none of your business who she votes for.

My mother was a Democratic election judge for a couple decades while my father usually (but not always) voted Republican. They had a very long and loving marriage.

in small villages here in japan it’s common for everyone to get together and decide whom they’ll all vote for. they don’t vote as a group, of course, and ballots are secret, but peer pressure is still pretty coercive…
