I love the colors of Autumn. But also the fresh greens of Spring.

It’s a shame people would take beauty like this for granted if it were here all the time. Often we don’t really appreciate things until they’re gone.

This is true, lived in the cotswolds and never appreciated the colours – now I live in southern Spain which is light brown.

Verne’s right… things are not special when they can be had any time.

Fun fact 1 in 12 men are color blind and don’t know all the colors on display in the fall.

Though some parks in the mountains now offer special glasses to allow the color blind to see

C.S. Lewis found beauty in “rhythm,” broadly speaking. This would include the regular change of seasons.

Upstate NY … the leaves were like that last panel most of October. Gorgeous…

Each season had its beauties. Those of us who live where there are four of them are blessed.

Verne’s right you know. This way you get to really see the beauty. And then have time to begin to look forward to it next year.

I would settle for just a few weeks longer. It goes by too fast.
