Misery is the signature of the republican party. Never happy unless you are fraught, staring cross at everyone else, and dreading a reality that is nothing compared to your actual life. The party of doom and gloom. Less government, until it’s telling you who you can be, what you can read, supplanting your doctor in favor of the opinion of a religious zealot. Deny the problem, deflect the blame and pretend they are there to help pick up the pieces. Misery loves company, so invite it over at your own peril.
There is no realistic comparison. I’m no fan of any of the political parties, and had little hope for what Biden might manage to do, but Anything would have been/would be better than the lifelong failure/crook/menace that is trump. I guess the good news is that his mental state seems to be currently so far gone he won’t be as effective a problem as the last time, but his handlers/influencers are likely to have free-er reign the next time.

The years of the orange colon polyp’s reign were complete chaos. It’s a lot less miserable now.

Of course MAGAs are miserable today. They do not control the White House.

conservatives have always needed someone to hate and fear. tRump took that and ran with it.
