I googled Quater Horse and came up with this: The American Quarter Horse descends from English and Spanish horses that were imported into the American colonies in the 1600s. These horses were crossed with native breeds, including the Chickasaw horse and the Mustang.
When I lived downtown in Santa Barbara in the 70s, I would often get stopped by people who asked me the time. No matter what I replied, the response was, “Wow”.
Those were the days. It was always Wow O’clock in Santa Barbara.
