I’d have expected a far harsher penalty. I’d check your shoes before sticking a foot into an unpleasant surprise.

My cats don’t act like Ginger. Maybe cuz we’re so much alike. The cats and myself. Of course I don’t barf on the floor and lick my nether regions. There are some differences.

How times do change. The classified ads section in the local Sunday paper is down to around one page these days. There are still some job postings, most government and few corporations. It’s probably in the bylaws that some jobs have to be posted in the newspaper or something.
