Many years ago in high school, a partner and I had to debate two students in favor of closed campus. We won about 34 to 1. Even one of my opponents voted for our side. The opponents saw the matter as such a slam-dunk for their side they barely prepared at all. I owe my success to their laziness and overconfidence.
