One of the all time greats! Must’ve seen it a couple of dozen times! Look for Alfred Hitchcock standing right outside the real estate agency as Janet Leigh enters!
When I was little Mum would lock the doors, pull the blinds & turn off the TV before taking a shower, & she would tell my brother & I to not answer the door or the phone. We found that a little scary & didn’t understand why we had to do all that.
Years later I learned that she & Dad saw that movie when they were dating & the shower scene really freaked her out.
The original, low-budget Night of the Living Dead. Watched it on TV with commercials in the 1970s, lights on, all very casual. Had nightmares for years. Still have zombie nightmares occasionally if I’m stressed.

Ha Ha ! Reminds me of a joke I heard. What did 1 sagging boob say to the other ? If we don’t get some support soon, people will think we’re nuts !

The Haunting from 1963 (based on Shirley Jackson’s book The Haunting of Hill House scared me. We never SEE anything, but the ambience is creepy.

My Dad didn’t think it would be problem for me to watch that movie at 7 years old, It took many years before I was OK taking a shower in a motel.
