BTW, on October 26 we rescued ELLA from Chicago Anti-Cruelty. Her journey started in a kill shelter in Arkansas, Then , Kentucky , Tennessee, S. Illinois and finally Chicago. We drove her to our fahm in New Hampshire on November 1. She looks almost like Rugby ( picture in margin). Lab mix apricot / yellow and 73 pounds ( three less than Rugby). She is over the top with all of the smells and space to be just the dog she is. Please share our enjoy. We saved one more.

Sometimes it’s nice to take advantage of being in a comic strip.

As the bird in “BC” once commented, “It’s good to know that not all of the absurdity has gone out of the comics.”

We’re going to walk, around, the block all night
When the clock strikes one, two, three, and four
The bladder says we need to walk some more

Great creative concept today—and the little detail of Rover opening one eye when Red asks him about going for the walk is priceless.
