Betty really is such a dislikable character.
I bet that in Panel 2, the first two words in the fourth line were originally “The book”, but Delainey / Rasmussen decided that “Alex’s book” would be better. However, they didn’t move the full text further right to remain left-justified.
Like Jerry Lewis said, “Humor is a man in trouble.”
Is there anyone who can tell me, why Betty dislikes the author of that book?
