I think this is a real thing, coffee badging. Although I think the coffee badgers come in because their badge needs to be scanned at some point during the day, not for people that don’t have to because they are allowed to work the full day from home. But they do come in just to socialize a little, maybe catch a meeting and then leave to work at home for the rest of the day.
