There’s always someplace else. Best to look before you need it and dont’ burn your bridges behind you with former employers.

Our office went union years ago, negotiated a contract and got time-and-a-half for the first 2 hours, and double time thereafter. Funny thing, the overtime slowly disappeared after a couple of months … too expensive. Even stranger, the work still got done!

There’s alot of um shuffling at my current company. They only have a 2.2 rating on indeed. I’m in the process of looking at other options.
